- Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
- Salary: £20,343.96 per annum for 27 hours per week
- Location: Leicester, LE3
- Schedule: 27 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday with a three-week rotating pattern (shift options: 6.00am–3.30pm or 8.30am–6.00pm) including a 30-minute break
About The Role
Completing deliveries to varied customers across the UK within an approximate radius of 100 miles from LE3 1TH. Drivers are the public face of the company and embody the values of customer service, on time, in full, with a smile and a helping hand. They take responsibility for the roadworthiness, safety and legality of their vehicles, driving in a courteous, considerate and fuel-efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Put the customer first in everything you do
- Hold a minimum of Category C driving licence, digital tachograph card and up-to-date CPC training
- Be skilled in driving an HGV Class 2 18 tonne, curtain-sided commercial vehicle
- Have extensive experience of multi-drop deliveries
- Be presentable and reliable
- Be physically fit as handball will be involved on occasions
- Have a good understanding of legal requirements regarding tachographs and driving hours
- Have significant class 2 driving experience
- Have a very customer-focused attitude
