The company is seeking a reliable, well-organised Stores / Yard / Driver / Housekeeping person to support stores management and yard operations in a busy environment. You will handle goods, maintain stock levels, keep the yard and workshop clean, safe and organised, and assist with light vehicle recovery, delivery, bin emptying, waste crushing and recycling.
Key skills include a keen eye for detail, good communication, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory management, including receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods and materials.
- Performing regular stock checks and maintaining fast moving stock items.
- Assisting in yard/workshop areas to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Cleaning vehicles as required.
- Light recovery and collection/delivery of customer vehicles.
- Liaising with workshop managers to support day-to-day tasks.
- Ensuring bins are kept empty, cardboard sorted and placed into recycling skip.
- Ensuring correct material is placed into the correct skips.
- Full UK Driving licence (Inc 7.5t), ideally with current CPC and Tacho.
- Forklift Licence would be an advantage; training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
