About The Company:
The company is a Family Business in Great Totham Essex who specialise in professional ground care machinery, with clients ranging from Schools, Contractors, Councils and private estates. Their goal is to provide high levels of customer service along with the best quality products to professional customers. They have staff members from various mechanical backgrounds including car mechanics, plant fitters, forklift mechanics, HGV fitters, and agricultural engineers. The machines (mostly professional mowers like the Ransomes Parkway) are very nice to work on, everything is easily accessible, and the work is not back breaking like Plant and HGV, providing a pleasant atmosphere and nice working environment.
About The Role:
They have a position available for an active professional Plant fitter / mechanic. Successful applicants will be reconditioning plant and machinery to like new standard, maintaining a fleet of machines, and organising pre-delivery inspections on reconditioned machines. This role will suit people who enjoy working to a high standard and taking pride in their work.
Candidate Requirements:
- Diesel engine experience, fault finding (Kubota and Yanmar engines)
- Working knowledge of auto electrical systems, relays, fuses, switches, etc., basic circuits fault finding
- Welding - gas, arc, and MIG all mild steel
- Full driving license
- A positive attitude
- Optional skills: spray painting, tyre changing, welding, engineering, lathe work
Additional Info:
- 40 hr standard week
- 8.00am - 4.30pm Mon - Thursday
- 07:30 - 4pm Friday
- 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
- Overtime available
