As the first point of contact for all aftersales customers, a helpful and welcoming manner ensures a good first impression. You will need to be able to keep calm under pressure, listen carefully to instruction, and follow procedures thoroughly. Working collaboratively in a small but efficient team, you will be handling a multitude of tasks throughout the day with professionalism and diligence and a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

From checking customers in, to arranging appointments, advising customers of additional repairs and invoicing, you will be organised in your approach to the working day to ensure each task is completed in full and to a high standard. Continuing to build a strong rapport with our existing and loyal customer base, you will also provide an exceptional experience for customers who are new to our business, ensuring excellence in customer care is the priority of your day.

Essential Skills Required:

  • Excellent standards of customer service in person, on the phone and through digital communications
  • A full, clean drivers licence
  • Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions / processes
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong focus on the tasks at hand to ensure a calm and controlled flow to the day
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new software and systems
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently (once fully trained)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Self-motivation to exceed departmental targets in sales and customer care

Preferred Skills Required:

  • Experience in the Aftersales Automotive industry (full training will be provided)
