An excellent opportunity for a CNC Operator to join a well-established company based in Nelson.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Nelson, Lancashire BB9
Salary: £14.00 Per Hour, Depending on Experience. Pay range increasing post training (6 Month)
About the Role:
- To join the company's 5-man manufacturing team to operate their SCM M100 3 axis CNC timber router.
- After 6 months training, the position will be enhanced to that of setter/operator with an hourly increase in payment.
- Full training will be provided.
- Hours of work are 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break plus two 10-minute tea breaks.
- On Friday they operate from 7.30am to 10.30am (with an option of a further 2 hours over-time).
Candidate Requirements:
- Applicant must be over 18 years old to operate machinery within the factory; free safety footwear and P.P.E. will be provided.
- The company has a large on-site car park and an in-house canteen area.
- Knowledge of timber panel manufacture will be an advantage.
