Salary: Β£42,000 - Β£44,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.
Location: West Horndon, Brentwood.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Overtime Available - 28 days holiday entitlement per annum including Bank Holidays.
About The Company:
They are a busy fleet assistance and vehicle repair company repairing and maintaining fleets of emergency and non-emergency ambulance vehicles. The company is looking for a qualified vehicle technician to service, maintain and perform repairs on PTS/Emergency Ambulances and van fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary duties are the repair and maintenance of emergency and non-emergency vehicles.
- Carry out and evaluate preventive maintenance schedules.
- Conduct repairs on the brake, engine, electrical, fuel, hydraulic, transmission, ignition, air suspension systems, exhaust, axle assemblies, and related systems on all types of equipment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of motor vehicles and previous experience in a similar environment.
- City & Guilds Automotive or equivalent.
- Have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points.
- Over 25.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Able to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task whilst under pressure.
- Proven ability to be flexible within an environment.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Previous responsibility for the maintenance of a large, varied fleet.
