Excellent opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician / Technical Service Controller to join a well-established company Dual-Role Mobile Vehicle Technician / Technical Service Controller This is a Monday to Friday position with NO WEEKENDS. They are an established independent company based in Kingswood, Bristol specialising in mobile servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles for the fleet industry across Bristol and surrounding areas. They are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic who is reliable, conscientious and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard, and who is comfortable working in an office-based capacity supporting the day-to-day running of the service operation in a dual-role position. You will primarily be office-based, providing day-to-day administrative support to our small service team and mobile vehicle technicians. You will also spend time on the road carrying out servicing and repairs at customer sites, allowing you to remain hands-on while providing additional technician support during busy periods and holiday cover. As an experienced technician, you will also assist with the training of new technicians by delivering on-the-job training, sharing your knowledge and expertise, and helping them develop the technical skills and confidence needed to work independently and in line with our standards. Advise customers on required repairs, routine maintenance and recommended service schedules. Provide customer updates, obtain authorisation for additional work and resolve queries to deliver an excellent customer experience. Provide technical guidance and support to mobile technicians and the service team, acting as the primary point of contact for technical queries. Travel to customer sites to carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles. Lead, train, develop and assist mobile technicians where required. Conduct onsite quality inspections to ensure company standards are maintained.
