Job Description:
A long established firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in North Wales. Candidates should have a good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and grow in your role. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a minimum of three years UK practice experience, looking to further and strengthen their career.
Overview:
- Manage the VAT department to ensure all deadlines are met
- Review the work of junior colleagues and provide them with feedback
- Correspondence with agencies such as the HMRC
- Correspondence with clients to ask queries, request additional information and provide them with assistance
- Identify and put in place efficiencies within the VAT department
- Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage, Kashflow and Quickbooks (training and guidance will be provided if you are unfamiliar with a product)
- You will report direct to the partners of the firm
- You will be provided with internal and external training to support you in your role
