Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Security Engineer to join our client’s growing team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV and security systems across a wide range of client sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems, including IP and analogue systems.
- Conduct fault‑finding, diagnostics, and repairs on CCTV and associated security systems.
- Perform routine service visits and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to clients as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.
- Travel regularly across the UK with occasional overnight stays.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of CCTV systems including IP‑based solutions.
- Strong understanding of access control and fire solutions.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with access control, intruder alarms, or other security systems.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. ECS / CSCS, IPAF, PASMA).
- Knowledge of networking and IP configuration.
