This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working across a variety of fire and electronic security systems while delivering excellent customer service.
About The Role:
As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive call-outs, fault diagnosis, repair and commissioning support of fire and security systems across our customer portfolio.
You will work independently across multiple sites, ensuring all systems remain compliant, operational and maintained to the highest standards.
The role includes participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota to provide emergency breakdown support.
Key Duties:
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing:
Access Control Systems.
CCTV Systems (IP & Analogue).
Fire Alarm Systems (Addressable & Conventional).
Intruder Alarm Systems.
Emergency Lighting.
Emergency call-out response and reactive maintenance.
Planned preventative maintenance in accordance with contract schedules.
Diagnosing system faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
Testing and verifying system operation following repairs.
Completing electronic service reports and certification.
Liaising professionally with customers and site representatives.
