Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience.

Location: Crediton, Devon – Covering South West.

About The Company:

The company specialise in delivering premium-quality steel-framed buildings tailored to exact requirements. With decades of experience in the industry, they have established themselves as a trusted name for durable, cost-effective, and versatile building solutions across the UK.

They are looking for experienced Steel Erectors / Cladders to join their existing team, working on agricultural and industrial projects.

The successful candidates will ideally have proven experience erecting steel-framed buildings and installing cladding systems to a high standard.

Key Duties:

  • Erect steel-framed buildings
  • Install composite, single-skin and built-up cladding systems, including flashings and associated items
  • Install precast panels
  • Read and work from construction drawings
  • Carry out plant and equipment checks
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding work, progress and site safety
  • Maintain high standards of quality and complete work within agreed timescales
  • Follow all Health & Safety requirements and site procedures
  • Keep work areas clean, safe and tidy
  • Safely operate site plant and access equipment with relevant training provided
  • Assist with other duties as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in steel erection and/or cladding
  • Self-motivated, reliable and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety, manual handling and working at height
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable:

  • Valid CSCS, IPAF, SMSTS, First Aid and/or Telehandler qualifications
