A landmark West London restaurant is hiring a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a 160-cover modern French brasserie, bar, private dining room and terrace. The site has a long-standing reputation in its neighbourhood and has recently been reimagined under new ownership. The kitchen is led by a well-known London chef patron, the menu is ingredient-led modern French brasserie, and the guest base spans local regulars, destination diners and private events.

The role

You'll run the floor and the wider operation end-to-end: service standards, team leadership, P&L, supplier and stock control, private dining delivery, and the guest experience throughout. You'll work directly with the owner on commercial and brand decisions, and partner closely with the chef patron on the daily rhythm of the restaurant.

What we're looking for

  • Current or recent General Manager experience in a premium standalone restaurant or comparable independent operation
  • A strong commercial grip across covers, GP, labour and the weekly numbers
  • Able to lead service from the floor and act as the senior host for regulars, destination diners and private events
  • Wine knowledge sufficient to lead the floor team and engage a discerning guest base
  • The capability to own private dining and event delivery

What's on offer

A 160-cover site with three distinct trading spaces: dining room and bar, basement private dining, and an alfresco terrace. A genuinely independent operating culture backed by the standards of a branded group.

How to apply

Apply directly through LinkedIn, or message me to open a confidential conversation. The hiring restaurant is not named at this stage and will be disclosed at first-stage discussion. All approaches handled discreetly.
