A leading, design-driven boutique hotel in the heart of Manchester is searching for an exceptional General Manager to take full ownership of operations, culture, and commercial performance. The Opportunity

We’re looking for a proven hospitality operator with the confidence, strategic capability, and emotional intelligence to lead a multi-department hotel operation. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind guest experience, financial performance, people development, and brand reputation.

You will step into a role with full autonomy, working directly with ownership to deliver a high-performing, modern hospitality environment that blends creativity, community, and commercial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Full P&L leadership across rooms, F&B, and events
• Lead, inspire, and develop diverse on-site teams
• Elevate guest experience and brand standards
• Drive revenue, optimise costs, and improve margins
• Strengthen culture, structure, and operational discipline
• Build local partnerships and act as the face of the property
• Ensure all compliance, safety, and governance standards are met

What We’re Looking For

• Proven General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience (Deputy GM/Hotel Manager ready to step up)
• Strong commercial acumen, able to interpret data and drive performance
• Natural leader with the ability to build high-performing teams
• Confident communicator skilled at influencing stakeholders at all levels
• Operationally hands‑on with excellent attention to detail
