We are supporting a new, ultra-premium private members’ club in Central London with the appointment of a senior HR & Learning Director. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and shape the full people, culture and development agenda of a high-end hospitality business built around exceptional standards, discretion and service excellence.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role combines strategic HR leadership with a strong learning and leadership development focus, ensuring the brand’s values are translated into daily behaviours, capability and performance. The role will suit someone who understands that luxury is delivered through people, not policies.

The Role

You will lead the design and delivery of a structured HR and Learning strategy aligned to the club’s vision and commercial objectives. You will build and oversee training programmes covering onboarding, service excellence, leadership development and career progression. You will partner closely with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted, high-impact learning solutions. You will establish leadership development and succession pathways to support long-term talent retention. You will oversee HR operations, compliance and employee relations, supported by a small HR team. You will measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and continuously refine them using data and feedback.

About You

You are a senior HR professional with a strong L&D background, ideally from luxury hospitality, private members’ clubs, premium hotels or high-end service environments. You are commercially aware, culturally astute and credible at MD and board level. You are comfortable being visible, hands-on and influential, not operating purely from behind policy frameworks. You bring structure, clarity and long-term thinking to people strategy. Degree-qualified in HR or a related discipline; professional accreditation is advantageous.

What’s on Offer

A senior leadership role within a high-profile, design-led hospitality brand. The opportunity to build a best-in-class people and learning function from day one. Genuine influence over culture, standards and long-term success. Salary up to £80,000, plus benefits, depending on experience. Confidential applications and enquiries welcome.
