PLC Machine Operator

We are recruiting for PLC Machine Operator to join a specialised manufacturer in Ross on Wye. The successful candidate will come from a hands-on background, willing to learn new skills, and ideally possess existing experience within technical manufacturing, or highly automated production enviroment What you can expect: * £14.30 per hour including shift allowance * Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm, rotating weekly * 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays * A brand-new manufacturing facility * Progression opportunities What you will be doing: * Operating highly automated precision PLC machinery * Following company SOP\’s and health & safety requirements * Work and communicate with other members of the team to ensure efficient handover * Communicating with Shift coordinators and Leaders to ensure they are aware of any issues in your designated area * Ensure production data is recorded properly * Housekeeping of work areas * Ensure any production waste is discarded in the correct manner What we are looking for: * Experience operating, programming and troubleshooting PLC or highly automated production machinery * A hands-on background production experience * Highly motivated and willing to learn new skills * IT literate, plc programming Recruitment Direct are working as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy, you must be able to prove…
