*Responsible for the Inspection/examination of all equipment and material prior to any test
*Responsible for arranging, conducting, and finalising trials
*Produce comprehensive reports detailing results
*Testing and processing following prescribed methods
*Creation of technical drawings
*Operating both CNC and manual mills, lathes and other routine workshop equipment
*Able to adapt to changing priorities as necessary to support customers
We are recruiting for a Testing Engineer to join our rural client on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with a mechanical bias and preferably testing knowledge. We encourage candidates with an aptitude for engineering and interest in professional development to apply. This position will be working within a large team, and reporting to the site engineering manager, supporting with conducting trials and engineering tests on numerous innovative projects., *Minimum of a Level 3 in Engineering, or demonstrable amount of practical engineering experience gained within current or previous employment
*High standard of literacy, numeracy and IT
*Resourceful and willing to learn
*Ability to interpret technical data and compose detailed reports
*Health & Safety training – IOSH Managing Safely
*Experienced using CAD software
*Ability to operate plant equipment such as telehandlers and forklifts – preferred
*Good practical knowledge of instrumentation techniques – preferred
