Our rural Leominster client is seeking a full time, permanent Technical Sales Advisor to join their friendly and knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending and selling appropriate components and systems to customers, providing a troubleshooting service should problems arise, processing all associated administration.

What you can expect:

  • Salary: up to £38,000, depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm or 08.30am – 4.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service by 1 additional day per year, up to a maximum of 5 additional days)
  • NEST pension scheme
  • Discretionary bonus based on company performance

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain contact with new and existing customers via email, telephone, and visits
  • Recommend and sell appropriate components and systems to meet customer needs
  • Interpret drawings and sketches, sizing and specifying systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot component and system problems to offer solutions
  • Process sales orders, maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the internal CRM system
  • Deal with customer enquiries and liaise closely with the team to reach a positive resolution
  • Generate new sales opportunities
