We are working with a family-owned organisation within the structural steelwork sector seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a full-time permanent basis to join its team. Based in Herefordshire operating across major UK projects, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. This role will play a key part in managing project costs, protecting margins, and supporting the successful commercial delivery of projects.

- Managing all project-related costs to ensure value for money and margin protection
- Monitoring project cashflow through stage payment scheduling
- Producing construction cost analysis and tracking subcontract packages
- Liaising with Project Lead Engineers to develop construction and procurement programmes
- Negotiating variations prior to final project incorporation
- Managing interim valuations and agreeing final accounts with clients
- Attending site, client, and project meetings as required
- Previous experience within the construction industry, ideally with structural steelwork exposure
- HNC in Surveying, Construction, or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong commercial awareness with solid budget management understanding
- Experience with NEC and JCT contract forms
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel
- Ability to analyse detailed construction and cost information
