This is an opportunity to join a well-established, independent commercial vehicle service provider specialising in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of HGVs and Fleet Vehicles on a full-time, permanent basis based in Hereford. The business supports a range of logistics and transport clients, delivering high-quality, compliant, and reliable vehicle maintenance services. You will be working as part of a small, skilled team of technicians in a hands-on, workshop-based role.

What You Can Expect

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience starting at a minimum of £38,610.00 per annum
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays

What You Will Be Doing

  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on HGVs and trailers in line with DVSA standards
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
  • Completing repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime while maintaining high safety standards
  • Conducting safety inspections, MOT preparation, and compliance checks
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with legal, health and safety regulations
