Van Driver / Labourer Scotland Perth £26,000.00 The Recruitment Bunker is proud to be working exclusively with the McDermott Group to support their ongoing growth. Due to expansion and the recent win of a significant contract, we are seeking Van Drivers to join their dynamic team in Scotland. As a Van Driver / Labourer, you will ensure the timely and secure transportation of goods, tools, and equipment between locations, supporting project logistics and labouring activities. Overview of the Role * Van Driver/ Labourer * Salary – £26,000 * Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days * Pension * Employee Referral Scheme * Company Van and Fuel Card * 10% Discount Trade Card * Location – Scotland Perth Company Overview Operating as a leading privately owned collection of diverse companies, the McDermott Group operate throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK. The McDermott Group HQ is located within a new state of-the-art office building in Perth, accredited with the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) Gold standard. Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards * Transport tools, equipment, and materials to various job sites * Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle * Ensure vehicles paperwork is completed and up to date * Adhere to delivery schedules and routes * Conduct vehicle inspections and report issues promptly * Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed and support labouring activities Essential Skills * Clean Full UK driving license * Experience and confidence in driving a Van * Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools * Good organisational and time management skills * Ability to handle heavy lifting * Excellent time keeping and reliability * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Clear Disclosure Scotland Check * Must have IDLR/Full Rights to work in UK.
