Our client is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and trustworthy individual to join their high performing team as a Warehouse Operative. Our client is an international logistics provider that offers bespoke solutions for art handling, installation and art transport. They are a trusted partner to leading artists, commercial galleries, collectors and public museums worldwide.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations ongoing in the art warehouse. The duties you are expected to fulfill include keeping a record of stock on the warehouse management system and checking for damaged or missing items.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate large volumes of stock and keep up to date with all items that enter and leave the warehouse.
- Receive and load goods at the receiving/loading dock.
- Store received items in the appropriate location of the warehouse.
- Check stock for damaged and missing items.
- Move and rearrange stock when necessary.
- Keep accurate records of everything that comes in and leaves the warehouse.
- Maintain housekeeping and health and safety practices in the associated area.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse IT systems is preferred.
- Attentive with strong attention to detail.
