My client is recruiting a full-time Ticketing Consultant who is required to develop new global airline alliances as well as creating tailor-made flight itineraries. You will be responsible for ensuring all airline tickets are issued in a timely manner.
You must be a fully qualified airline ticketing consultant, with BA Ticketing part 1, 2, and 3. Also, you must have past experience with Galileo due to researching the best available fares and booking flights for clients.
The hours you will be working are Tuesday β Saturday, 9.00 am β 5.30 pm.
Responsibilities:- Negotiate airline bulk fares, ensuring airline issued targets are met and check that the contracts are accurately loaded onto GDS.
- Regular liaison with airline partners.
- Responsible for ensuring all airline tickets for bookings are issued in a timely manner and that Net fares are accurately applied.
- Conduct weekly meetings and feedback sessions suggesting areas that need improvement and keeping employees up to date on all issues.
- Research best available fares for HNWIβs.
- Responsible for creating luxury tailor-made flight itineraries.
- Excellent written & oral communication - fluent English a MUST.
- Previous knowledge of the travel/leisure industry.
- MUST be fully qualified in airline ticketing with BA Ticketing part 1, 2, and 3.
- MUST be familiar with GDS Galileo.
