Salary – £50K basic £60k plus OTE

Our client is recruiting an experienced Sales Manager to work in the Corporate Travel sector.

My client is a specialist in off-shore and marine travel management. In this role, you will drive the business forward and secure new business opportunities in a competitive market.

You will be working for a privately owned Travel Management Company that has been established for over 25 years and has offices in two locations within the UK.

They have seen strong growth in the last 5 years due to their diverse existing portfolio of clients and ambitious business plans.

You must be highly motivated with the ability to deliver from the outset. The role is target-driven, and you will be judged against the portfolio gained.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling the company’s range of services to the Energy Sector
  • Responsible for identifying, contacting, and securing new business
  • Proactive marketing within Scotland and the North East of England regions
  • Target markets include Oil, Gas & Renewable Energy sectors
  • Reporting to the Business Development Manager

Skills Required:

  • At least three years of sales management experience, preferably within the Travel Management sector
  • Preferably experience of selling to the Oil & Gas market
  • Preferably existing knowledge of Travel Management
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals
  • Willingness to travel
  • A track record of hitting sales targets
  • Ability to work alone and manage time effectively
  • Develop profitable new business by cold calling, generating leads, database search, client networking, and referrals
