About the Role:
- Preparing and delivering nutritionally balanced healthy and delicious food for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Working with the Director to design creative, seasonal menus.
- Managing the ordering of fresh food deliveries.
- Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard.
- You will be the only chef, but working in an environment with lots of friendly staff.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh meals for all children and staff.
- Managing the children's dietary preferences and allergies.
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
- Stock ordering and rotation.
Previous experience of working as a cook in a kitchen is essential. High standards of cleaning are a priority.
