My client is growing their M.I.C.E department and is looking for an M.I.C.E Consultant to strengthen their established team. In the role you will be booking group flights and handling meeting arrangements. You must have experience of building relationships and be able to maintain a great working relationship with your clients. Our client is a leading independent travel management company in central London and they are recruiting an experienced M.I.C.E travel professional with M.I.C.E or Groups experience. Part of the role includes building relationships with suppliers and ensuring that you have excellent knowledge of any services my client sells. Languages is a must; my client is looking for fluent Italian, German or French consultants. You must have previous experience with booking meetings, events or group bookings.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with any cancellations or amendments including schedule changes
  • Offering excellent customer service with every client transaction
  • Utilising account management skills in order to retain and grow business
  • Handling all meeting, event and group enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Booking flights, hotels, meeting rooms and venues for groups of 10 passengers or more
  • Booking all travel arrangements for regular meetings and training courses for a variety of corporate clients
  • Offering advice regarding destinations, best/most cost effective carriers
  • To buy under budget (without compromising on quality) where possible in order to increase the margin
  • To be aware of all Hotels, venue special offers on the incentive market that may help us secure business
  • To make sure that all offers are sent out in our standard format and are all entered into tour plan and that any amendments are all tracked in tour plan as well
