My client is recruiting a Product Executive that has one year or more experience in the travel sector. My client is a luxury travel company that has established a reputation for delivering absolute excellence in everything they do. Ideally, experience of the Indian Ocean, Arabia or the Caribbean would be an advantage, but not essential. My client is looking for fresh ideas and someone that is energetic and confident to work on all systems. You must be confident enough to deal with hoteliers and willing to go the extra mile for the team.
In the role you will be doing administration tasks, dealing with contracts, dealing with suppliers and helping the sales team.
Responsibilities:- To produce regular statistics detailing company sales performance
- To assist the Reservations department with day to day contract & booking queries
- Assist the Product Manager and Head of Commercial
- Sending out hotel and Ground agent contracts for signature, and chasing of signed contracts.
- Assist in all brochure production tasks
- Assist in the Product training for reservations team as required
- Analyze market and competitor activity including regular price and rate comparisons with our competitors and between hotels.
- Maintain up to date Product files on hotels and resorts
- Assist the Product Manager in contracting duties, both main annual contracting and proactive sourcing of tactical offers.
- Produce regular Quotes and Special offers updates to Reservations
- Assist Head of Operations & Customer Services in the handling of customer complaints.
- Liaising with hoteliers and airlines where necessary
