My client is recruiting an experienced cruise specialist that has amazing knowledge of cruises around the world. My client has been an expert in creating tailor-made itineraries for over 20 years. You must have a cruise sales background and have experience of converting cruise enquiries into cruises of a lifetime for your clients. We need you to be dynamic and tailor extras for example flights and hotels with the cruise. You must have the ability to deconstruct and rebuild complete cruise itineraries for demanding clients. Our client needs a cruise expert that has worked for cruise companies in the past and has experience of selling complex cruises and can jump straight into the team.
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
- At least 2 years' cruise sales experience
- Target driven and sales focused with proven successful sales track record
- Works well under pressure, rises to any challenge, and meets objectives
- Capable of working within a team structure or autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales
- Take responsibility for client enquiries from start to finish
- Maintain regular contact with client throughout duration of trip to ensure total satisfaction and repeat business
- Resolve any client complaints in conjunction with manager quickly and efficiently
- Respond to both telephone and email enquiries in a timely fashion within the guidelines as set by their manager
- Use of effective sales/questioning techniques to close the sale, reaching and exceeding sales targets
- Prepare quotes using margins specified by manager
- Study and relate to product featured on the website
- Build relationships with suppliers and knowledge of the supplier base
