My client is recruiting a travel specialist who has experience in planning the perfect holiday to India or Dubai but also has knowledge of booking holidays to Europe, Africa, and the South Pacific. They are a family-owned independent tailor-made specialist with over sixteen years of experience in tailoring India and worldwide holidays. They are looking to recruit a worldwide travel consultant that has an interest in India or Dubai to join their dynamic team of specialists. Key responsibilities:
- High level of customer care and willingness to exceed expectations
- Highly motivated and extremely sales-oriented
- Work in a team and be vital to achieve high sales growth
- Have previous experience in using a GDS
- Experience in tailor-making holidays and have contract and net fares experience
Knowledge and experience required:
- High level of customer service, above and beyond customer expectation on every call and email
- Good sales techniques and an excellent telephone manner
- Attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Computer literate with good keyboard skills
- Minimum of one year’s proven sales experience – travel industry knowledge is not essential but would be an advantage
