Our client is one of the UKs leading Golf Tour Operators who have been trading for over thirty years. The golf travel specialist position will ideally suit a dynamic, highly motivated, customer-oriented, enthusiastic Golfer who has a passion for the game.

In the role, you will be dealing with callers who are responding to adverts they have seen in the media. You need to turn an enquiry into tailor-made bookings (the more products sold the more money earned). You will have a good understanding of the customer’s needs, the ability to develop long-standing relationships, and provide an excellent standard of customer service. They provide a comprehensive training programme, which covers all aspects of the job plus continuous development training.

Responsibilities:

  • Act in a professional and efficient manner to phone and email enquiries
  • Take details from the customer
  • Communicate in a polite and friendly way to identify the customer’s exact needs and requirements
  • Follow up with customers, venues, and other third parties to close sales and take payment
  • Identify potential new business from old leads
  • Use initiative to up-sell and cross-sell other products to the customer
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times through ongoing training
