A great opportunity has become available to work for a private day nursery in Ruislip for a Deputy Nursery Manager. Our client opened in 2018 and is located on a serene farm overlooking the fields where the horses often come to greet the team. Conveniently, they are just a 7-minute walk from the station, which makes travelling to and from work that much easier, and for those arriving to work by car, ample parking is available.

Our client provides an in-depth induction process, giving adequate training to all staff members. They also offer opportunities to enhance skills further by completing additional courses and qualifications funded by them. Montessori empowers children to build their confidence by creating an environment that supports them to practice and master their abilities on a day-to-day basis. You will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in your care and be part of a supportive team, with access to excellent resources.

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  • Relevant early years/childcare qualification at either Level 3 or above
  • Experience of working with children in a nursery/private day care setting as a practitioner and room leader
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
  • Clear understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of child protection procedures
  • Can plan activities for children that are age appropriate that will develop the children’s language and communication skills and foster their curiosity and independence
  • Good communication skills, approachable, confident and caring with a passion for working with young children
