Our client is an independent industrial group that ranks among the world’s top 10 in transport and logistics. Their business has been intercontinental air and ocean freight. They are recruiting an experienced customer service operator who is service focused and has a proven transport background. You must meet the daily business needs in relation to collection and deliveries in accordance with customer requirements whilst keeping costs within budget. In the role you will be answering quote requests and raised client problems.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in daily planning of Fleet vehicles
- Liaise with sub contractors & operational depts.
- Deal with POD requests
- Maintain vehicle records
- Approval of supplier Invoices
- Maintain supplier spend records
- Deal with quotations and assist with tender requests
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
- Aviation security Level D
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive
- Excellent customer service skills
- ICT skills
