Job Title – Branch/Store Manager – Car Rental

Job Location –Basingstoke

Salary –£25k – £27k with a £35k OTE

Our client is a world-famous car rental company and they are recruiting a Manager who will ensure the Basingstoke branch is managed effectively to achieve company, operational and customer service objectives.

In the role you will maximise the profitability of the store by effective staff management, revenue generation, cost management and through the delivery of a great customer experience.

You will ensure the branch is optimised to deliver the best customer experience within agreed budgets through the staff and location.

You will manage all the department including fleet and sales.

They need you to ensure employees are performance managed effectively in conjunction with the Managers and HR where appropriate.

You must create a culture where staff are motivated, supported and are committed to delivering a great customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously review the customer service
  • Ensure company procedures are followed
  • Resolve any customer dissatisfaction within agreed limits.
  • Identify training and development needs of employees
  • Ensure employee costs and headcount are within budget
  • Ensure that all branch standards and procedures are met and maintained in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • To be aware of current market share and competitor activity
  • Manage demanding sales targets
