Salary: Up to £43,900 + Overtime + Bonus

Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, permanent role in Wolverhampton?
We are recruiting for an electrician to join a busy industrial plant, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across LV systems, motors, control wiring and process equipment. The role offers a strong basic salary, overtime potential and long-term stability.
The Role
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Maintaining and testing LV electrical systems
- Electrical fault finding and defect rectification
- Working on motors, control wiring and PLC / DCS-connected equipment
- Circuit and cable tracing
- Supporting planned outages and plant maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns and plant emergencies
- Working safely within Permit-to-Work procedures
- Reading technical drawings and completing maintenance records
- Supporting other maintenance and operations personnel as required
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering, C&G 5357 apprenticeship or equivalent
- Practical industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience with motors over 15kVA
- Electrical fault-finding experience
- Control wiring experience
- Ability to read electrical / technical drawings
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to breakdowns
- Experience with PLC/DCS control wiring, 18th Edition, confined spaces, MEWP, forklift, rigging/slinging or HV operational safety would be advantageous but is not essential.
Location
The site is based in Wolverhampton, WV1, making it particularly accessible from Walsall, West Bromwich, Dudley, Bilston, Cannock and the wider West Midlands.
