The Lead Quantity Surveyor will take commercial responsibility for refurbishment, retrofit and decarbonisation programmes within the social housing sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial management across refurbishment, planned works and decarbonisation contracts
  • Full responsibility for cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting

  • Oversee subcontractor procurement and commercial performance
  • Work closely with operational teams to maintain programme pace and quality

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong background in social housing refurbishment, retrofit or decarbonisation
  • Experience working on compliance-led programmes
  • Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to lead teams and influence delivery outcomes

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • RICS accreditation desirable but not essential
