RecruitME is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a well-established parking technology provider, supporting electronic and electro-mechanical parking systems across the UK. This is a hands-on, field-based engineering role, ideal for someone comfortable managing their own workload and delivering reliable on-site support.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and fault-finding parking and access control equipment at customer locations. You will work closely with the Technical Support Manager and act as a key on-site contact, ensuring systems operate safely, reliably, and in line with agreed service levels. This role is focused on technical delivery and customer support, not supervision or management.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide mobile engineering support to customer installations across Warwickshire and surrounding areas
- Install, commission, service, and maintain parking and access control systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on site
- Respond to breakdowns and incidents in line with Service Level Agreements
- Deliver first-line customer training during commissioning and handover
- Complete job reports, documentation, and system updates accurately
- Liaise directly with customers, providing clear technical advice and support
- Work with the Technical Support Manager to maintain service standards
- Support continuous improvement of products and service delivery
About You
- Experience working as a Field Service Engineer or mobile service engineer
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Methodical, organised, and safety-conscious
- Confident dealing directly with customers
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
- PC literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
- Willing to travel UK-wide and attend Doncaster HQ for training when required
