Technical Systems Manager
Donington, Lincolnshire | £50,000 – £55,000 | Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8am–5pm)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Systems Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of security, fire detection, and compliance services.
Why This Role?
This role offers full responsibility for the on-time, on-budget, and compliant delivery of around £6 million in security and fire projects annually across the UK. With clear scope for professional growth, you’ll be a key player in driving operational excellence, process improvements, and strategic delivery models.
You’ll be the technical lead and coordinator, ensuring seamless delivery from planning through to customer handover—while maintaining the highest NSI Gold standards and ensuring 100% client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead technical delivery of security and fire system installations including electrical, CCTV, access control, intruder, and fire detection.
·Manage projects from proposal to delivery: ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency.
·Coordinate planning, engineering, programming, stock readiness, and subcontractor support.
·Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and subcontractors onsite.
·Support the Helpdesk and Control Room with system setup, programming, and monitoring.
·Conduct site visits to verify quality and engage with clients where required.
·Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and operational efficiency.
·Contribute to shaping the future structure of the project delivery model.
What We’re Looking For:
·Significant experience delivering security and fire installations (Electrical, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, Fire Detection).
·Proven track record managing large-scale technical projects (£5m+ annually).
·Strong knowledge of NSI Gold or equivalent compliance frameworks.
·Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multi-site delivery teams.
·Proactive problem-solving mindset and strong leadership capability.
·Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel and occasional overnight stays.
Desirable:
·Senior-level technical, contracts, or project management experience in the electrical/security/fire sector.
·Familiarity with project delivery software (CRM, scheduling, job management systems).
·Experience managing subcontractors and multi-site delivery.
·Background in process improvement and operational development.
