We’re recruiting an IT Site Services Specialist to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing operation in Anwick, Lincolnshire. This is a highly visible, hands-on site-based role supporting critical production and operational technology across a large-scale manufacturing facility.

The Role
As the on-site IT Site Services Specialist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining IT service availability across the manufacturing site, supporting both office and production-based technology. This is not a remote helpdesk role — you’ll be embedded within site operations, working directly with engineering teams, operational leadership and end users to ensure systems remain reliable, responsive and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering 2nd Line IT Support across manufacturing and production environments
- Supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printing hardware
- Managing incidents, service requests and problem records in line with ITIL processes
- Supporting VOIP telephony, AV equipment and network troubleshooting
- Carrying out proactive maintenance, upgrades and patching
- Acting as the primary on-site IT support contact for the facility
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates currently working as an IT Support Engineer, 2nd Line Support Engineer, IT Technician, Site IT Engineer or Manufacturing IT Support Engineer.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience within a 2nd Line IT Support or IT Support Engineer role
- Experience supporting IT within manufacturing, factory, production or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of ITIL Incident and Problem Management
- Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, AV equipment and network troubleshooting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- ITIL certification
- Microsoft or vendor-specific certifications
