Our client, a dynamic, family-run business with over 1,200 employees nationwide, is recruiting a Site Manager – Retrofit & Decarbonisation to lead and deliver energy efficiency projects across Huntingdon and the surrounding area. With turnover approaching £250m and ambitious plans to double to £500m, this is a business offering long-term stability, excellent benefits, and real career progression. Role Overview
- Lead day‑to‑day site operations on retrofit and decarbonisation projects.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
- Ensure compliance with PAS 2030/2035, health & safety, and building regulations.
- Liaise with tenants in occupied properties to minimise disruption.
- Carry out inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and quality control.
- Monitor progress against programme and escalate delays when needed.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience as a Site Manager – Retrofit & Decarbonisation or energy efficiency projects.
- Knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 compliance and decarbonisation techniques.
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
- Experience working in occupied properties (social housing preferred).
- NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Site Management.
- Retrofit Site Supervisor training (TrustMark/PAS 2035-aligned).
- Ability to read drawings and interpret technical specifications.
