Our client, a dynamic, family-run business with over 1,200 employees nationwide, is hiring a Quantity Surveyor – Retrofit & Decarbonisation to manage the commercial aspects of retrofit and energy efficiency projects. With turnover approaching £250m and ambitious plans to double to £500m, this is a business where you’ll be valued, supported, and rewarded.
As a Quantity Surveyor – Retrofit & Decarbonisation, you will:
- Lead cost planning, procurement, valuations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with PAS 2035, ECO4, SHDF and other retrofit funding requirements.
- Control budgets, monitor performance, and deliver commercial reporting.
- Work closely with project managers, local authorities, and housing providers to ensure best practice delivery.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (retrofit, decarbonisation, or energy efficiency preferred).
- Knowledge of PAS 2035 / ECO4 / SHDF standards.
- Strong commercial awareness with JCT/NEC contract knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
