Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.15pm

The role

As an Experienced Residential Conveyancer, you will manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload and provide a high-quality service to both new and existing clients. You will be involved in a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, exchanges, completions, post‑completion formalities, client liaison and estate agent updates. You will also support the continued development of the conveyancing department by building strong local relationships, generating new work and identifying cross‑referral opportunities across the wider business.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties throughout the transaction
  • Preparing searches, contract documentation, enquiries, exchange, completion and post‑completion matters
  • Using case management systems properly, maintaining accurate records and working in line with compliance, quality and risk procedures
  • Supporting billing, monies on account, cash flow control and file closure requirements
  • Building strong local relationships and contributing to new work generation and cross‑referrals
What we're looking for

We are looking for a confident and organised conveyancing professional who understands the residential conveyancing process and can manage a busy caseload with accuracy and care.

Required skills & experience
  • Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancer, ideally managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload
  • A good understanding of the conveyancing process, compliance requirements and client care standards
  • Strong communication, planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including experience using case management systems
  • A proactive, positive and team‑focused approach

Knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors Account Rules would be highly beneficial. Previous experience of SOS Connect, or qualification as a Legal Executive or Solicitor, would also be advantageous but is not essential.
