  • Support bid development, pricing, and risk review for high‑value contracts
  • Build and manage strong client relationships to drive retention and upsell
  • Oversee development, performance, and training of commercial staff
  • Implement commercial best practice across all branches
  • Support branches in the use of IT systems (Dynamics, Qlik, SharePoint) and reporting tools
  • Lead on key commercial decisions around valuations, subcontractor accounts, and contract reviews
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve profit margins and reduce commercial risk
  • Ensure compliance with legal, industry and funding standards (public sector, frameworks, etc.)
  • Provide strategic input into regional work pipelines and profitability plans
  • Take the lead on dispute resolution and commercial negotiations

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Regional Commercial Manager or senior commercial leader in construction, maintenance or property services
  • Deep understanding of contract law, project valuation, risk management and commercial forecasting
  • Strong track record of leading high‑performing commercial teams
  • Confident communicator who can influence at all levels—from boardrooms to site cabins
  • Proficient in CVR reporting, P&L oversight, subcontract management and client negotiation
  • Qualified with a construction‑sector degree or equivalent (HNC/HND/BSc)
  • CMI Level 5 (or willing to work towards it)
  • Managerial and H&S qualifications are advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Benefits

  • Salary of up to £95,000
  • Car allowance of £9,990 (or £11,590 for EV)
  • Fuel card
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • Full company benefits package
  • Hybrid working
  • Flexible hours and remote tech support
  • Strong progression pathway into national commercial leadership roles
