Were recruiting for experienced Class 1 Welder / Fabricators to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
Salary is dependent on experience and level of qualifications.
This is a day-shift position offering a strong basic salary, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work on high-quality engineered products for major industrial projects.
Were looking for a skilled welder/fabricator with proven experience producing work to a high standard. Class 1 welding experience is essential , and previous experience working on welds subject to X-ray / radiographic inspection would be highly advantageous.
The Role
Youll be responsible for: Class 1 welding and fabrication to engineering drawings and specificationsProducing high-quality welded assemblies and fabricated componentsPreparing, fitting and welding materials accuratelyWorking to required welding procedures and quality standardsCarrying out visual checks and maintaining consistently high weld qualityWorking on components where weld integrity and traceability are criticalSupporting fabrication, plating and general manufacturing activities as requiredMaintaining excellent health, safety and housekeeping standardsWhat Were Looking For Youll ideally have: Proven experience as a Class 1 Welder / FabricatorStrong MIG / MAG welding and fabrication experienceExperience working from engineering drawingsExperience producing welds to demanding quality standardsX-ray / radiographic weld inspection experience or exposure would be a major advantageExperience within heavy engineering, pressure equipment, oil & gas, energy, combustion, process equipment or similar manufacturing environments would be beneficialA strong focus on quality, accuracy and safetyHours Monday Thursday: 7:30am 4:00pmFriday: 7:30am 1:00pmThis is currently a day-shift role .Some overtime may be available depending on workload, although this is not guaranteed .Salary & Benefits £33,000 £40,000 per annum DOEPlus an exceptional benefits package including:12% pension27 days annual leave plus bank holidaysTwo bonus schemes per year not contractually guaranteed, but historically paidBupa private healthcareMedicashGym membershipPotential overtimeExcellent long-term career opportunities within an established international engineering businessThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Welder, Fabricator, Plater or coded welding professional looking for a permanent days-based position with an outstanding overall package.
