You will gather technical information directly from engineers, customers and source material, interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, design data and applicable standards, and translate complex technical detail into documentation that can be easily understood by its intended users. An engineering, manufacturing or technical backgroundExcellent written English and proofreading skillsStrong attention to detailExperience interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data or technical specificationsThe ability to turn complex engineering information into clear instructions and proceduresStrong research and information-gathering skillsGood organisation and time-management skillsConfidence communicating with engineers, customers and project stakeholdersExperience working within quality, security or document-control proceduresExperience within defence, aerospace, aviation, automotive, manufacturing, product support, maintenance, technical publications, ILS or another regulated engineering environment would be particularly advantageous.
