We are recruiting for a Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy and successful litigation team from either the Spalding or Nottingham office.

You will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Partners, Solicitors and Fee Earners, helping the department manage cases efficiently and deliver an excellent service to clients.

This is a varied role offering responsibility, professional development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced legal specialists.

The Role

  • Provide secretarial support to Partners, Solicitors and Fee Earners
  • Prepare legal correspondence, court documents and statements
  • Produce documents through digital dictation and audio typing
  • Manage electronic client files and matter records
  • Open, maintain, close and archive files
  • Prepare client care letters and standard documentation
  • Upload court documents using CE-File
  • Obtain title documents through HM Land Registry
  • Prepare bundles, Settlement Agreements and Statements
  • Manage diaries, meetings, appointments and travel
  • Assist with billing, time recording and administration
  • Communicate professionally with clients
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
  • The Candidate
  • Previous Legal Secretary, Legal PA or secretarial experience
  • Litigation or dispute resolution experience preferred
  • Strong digital dictation and audio typing skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and document-formatting ability
  • Accurate spelling, punctuation and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and workload‑management skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable working to deadlines
  • Proactive and team‑focused approach

Experience using legal case management systems would be beneficial.

Knowledge of CE-File, i Manage, Elite 3E, Docu Sign, Bundle Docs or PDFDocs would also be advantageous but is not essential.
