We are recruiting for a B1.1 Licensed Engineer (ANY TYPE RATING CONSIDERED) to join a rapidly growing aviation and special operations business with a strong international footprint and ambitious plans for continued expansion. Key Responsibilities
- Certification of B1 maintenance activities during shift operations
- Supporting the Shift Supervisor in delivering safe, compliant Part-145 maintenance
- Carrying out maintenance on aircraft and associated equipment
- Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team
- Ensuring compliance with MOE and maintenance manuals
- Supporting planning, resource coordination, and task prioritisation
- Completing mechanical handovers and aircraft ground movements
- Maintaining accurate and timely technical documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing AOG technical support across the UK and overseas
- Acting as Deputy Shift Supervisor where required
Skills & Experience
- CAA Part-66 B1 Licence (essential)
- Strong experience within a Part-145 maintenance environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Willingness to travel for AOG support (UK & overseas)
- Eligible for UK security clearance
Desirable
- EASA Part-66 B1 Licence
- Multi-type approvals across aircraft platforms
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
