Multi Skilled Engineer 2 days 2 nights 4 off 12 hour shifts Are you a Multi Skilled Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? We are proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading food producers and we have exciting opportunity for Multi Skilled Engineer to work as part of the onsite Engineering Team at their King\’s Lynn site. Working on 4on 4off rotating days and nights shift pattern you will provide high quality engineering support to the site operations focusing on reliability and continuous improvement of all site assets and attend regular line performance updates – Short Interval control and daily / weekly operations performance reviews. You will undertake a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance and providing efficient response to breakdowns in order to maintain optimum efficiency. You will also be expected to actively seek improvement opportunities and implement those where possible to further develop the efficient and productivity of the business. The successful candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. You must be an excellent fault finder and a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC’s. You will be expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system so strong computer skills are a must. Required Experience and Qualifications: * Ideally Food Factory Experienced * Must be Multi skilled – Mechanical/Electrical * Pneumatic & Hydraulic competent * CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience desirable * Good People & Communication skills * Proactive/can do Attitude * Fault Finding Skills * Minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification. * IOSH would be desirable but not essential The role is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore you will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors and have a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall need of the business are met. Ideally you will have direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment, however familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.
