The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Lead Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor delivering planned maintenance and reactive works across the Central Belt. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone experienced in SOR-based contracts, coding, CVRs and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SOR-based and planned maintenance contracts
- Produce CVRs, forecasts and cost/value reporting
- Monitor WIP, margins and performance
- Manage variations and final accounts
- Oversee subcontractor procurement and payments
- Maintain client relationships
- Support junior team members
- Ensure strong commercial control across projects
What We're Looking For
- Experience in planned or reactive maintenance
- Strong understanding of SOR rates and coding
- Strong CVR and cost control experience
- Commercially astute
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Ability to lead and support teams
