Youll be joining an established engineering team on-site that knows the plant inside out and keeps production running at full capacity, 24/7.

About the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and improvement of all electrical systems on-site.

From scheduled preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response, your mission is to keep the plant safe, running, and fully compliant.

Youll be working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation (including nights and weekends) so flexibility and reliability are key.

Shift – 4 on 4 off shifts (days & nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and installation works across plant and machinery

• Respond rapidly to breakdowns and faults, troubleshooting effectively under pressure

• Work on general factory electrical systems including control panels, drives, motors, and sensors

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with compliance regulations

• Conduct risk assessments and adhere to Health & Safety procedures

• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to minimise downtime

• Support shift coverage when required due to absence or business need

• Ensure the working area is always left safe, clean and functional

What We\’re Looking For

• Recognised apprenticeship or formal electrical qualification (C&G / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Extensive experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in an industrial/process environment

• Knowledge of inverter drives and basic PLC logic

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multi-skilled team

• High attention to detail and fault-finding skills

• Calm and methodical under pressure

• Excellent communication skills at all levels

• Commitment to continuous improvement and safe working practices
