We are seeking an Electrically-biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a growing UK renewable energy and process-driven organisation operating critical infrastructure sites across the UK. This is a hands-on, site-based engineering role where you will play a key part in keeping complex process plant running safely, efficiently and compliantly. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will deliver planned maintenance, fault-finding and continuous improvement across electrical and mechanical systems in a modern industrial environment.

With three active sites (DN21, DN14 and PE15), candidates can be aligned to the most suitable location, with some flexibility where required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • 17th/18th Edition qualification
  • Strong electrical fault-finding ability
  • Experience in industrial, process, utilities, FMCG, energy or similar environments
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a site team
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience in renewables, AD, biogas, utilities or food manufacturing
  • CMMS experience
  • Mechanical skills alongside electrical bias
  • FLT / MEWP / Telehandler tickets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical fault-finding, testing, installation and repair
  • Support mechanical maintenance including pumps, valves and rotating equipment
  • Diagnose faults using drawings, schematics and CMMS systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimise plant downtime
  • Ensure all work complies with safe systems of work, permits and isolations
  • Support site improvement projects and engineering upgrades
  • Supervise contractors and manage permit-to-work activities
  • Maintain accurate records within the maintenance management system
  • Support plant monitoring via SCADA / process data where required

Roles are available across three operational sites, with vacancies at:

  • Hemswell (DN21)
  • Howden (DN14)
  • March (PE15)

You will be aligned to the most suitable site based on location and experience.
