This is an excellent opportunity to develop your experience in construction estimating, quantity take-offs, measuring works, pricing, valuations and commercial management, with genuine opportunities to progress. You don't need years of Quantity Surveying experience or a background in painting and decorating. What you'll be doing Working closely with the operations team, you'll support the commercial management of new-build housing painting and decorating contracts. Your responsibilities will include: Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications.
Carrying out accurate quantity take-offs and measuring works from drawings.
Applying agreed rates to measured works and supporting construction pricing.
Preparing estimates and assisting with tender submissions.
Visiting construction sites to assess progress and completed works.
Measuring completed works and assisting with monthly valuations.
